Smestad Recycling Centre represents a new typology: an indoor facility for public waste sorting and disposal. The project is located near an established residential area, with special care given to the neighbours and surroundings. The building is a robust, open hall with two distinct areas: one for the public and one for operations. There is a climatized zone at one end for service personnel and management.
